Fun fact: In the 5th grade, I decided to personalize my own Valentine’s Day stationary by creating letter-shaped cards that matched each classmate’s first name. Everyone in class was expecting candy and a cartoon card so they were not happy with me.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
Envisioning how a brand can roll out, turning a complex project for an audience to enjoy, and working with the best team.
What sparks your creativity?
Engaging with new people and learning about their perspectives, experiencing anything new, fine art exhibits, indie films, and traveling.
The thinkPARALLAX effect is about seeing things from different angles. What perspective do you bring to tPX?
Connecting the visuals of a project to have a consistent message, look and feel. I also share my detailed know-how’s to build a design from a blank slate to the final result.
Why/how did you become a graphic designer?
Why: seeing someone connect to a message/feeling or motivation to act through visual communication is very rewarding.
How: plenty of hard work, passion, and someone who believed that I could do it.
What are you up to out of the office?
Improving my tennis game to join a league, hunting for my favorite brewery, or exploring a new city.
