Sempra Energy, whose companies develop energy infrastructure, operate utilities, and provide related products and services to more than 31 million consumers worldwide, has published its sixth Corporate Responsibility Report to inform employees, shareholders and the public about its overall business approach and sustainability efforts.

Sempra tapped thinkPARALLAX for the third year in a row to create its Corporate Responsibility Report for 2013, detailing the company’s sustainable business strategy, goals and results over the past year. “Achieving Balance” is the theme of this year’s report – a title that convey’s Sempra’s approach to sustainability – it’s a balancing act that requires responding to customer needs, meeting increasing demands for cleaner energy and looking always toward the future. This year, thinkPARALLAX was challenged with creating an engaging design while retaining formatting elements that proved successful over the past two years. thinkPARALLAX introduced a color strategy, typography style and clean infographics that achieved a fresh look for this year’s report. In addition to the report, thinkPARALLAX created a supplemental brochure distributed to nearly 15,000 Sempra employees which showcased data and highlights across four business units – SDG&E, SoCalGas, Sempra International and Sempra U.S. Gas & Power.
