Yvonne is a Saudi Arabia-born, California-raised Filipino-American with a masters degree in Food Studies from NYU. Her early exposure to travel and diverse cultures gifted her with a passion for social and environmental impact from a young age. Yvonne previously worked to re-distribute excess food and donations from companies including Starbucks, Kroger, and Trader Joe's, and has worked to pilot home delivery programs for food insecure and senior communities in Los Angeles County. She is the founder of Climate Journal Project, a global organization helping participants foster personal and planetary healing through a climate-focused journal practice. In her free time, Yvonne enjoys cooking plant-based foods, surfing, and hanging out with friends, family and of course, her dog Amelia.
