The role
The Marketing & Sales Manager is the engine for thinkPARALLAX’s business development and market presence. This hybrid role sits at the intersections of strategic marketing implementation, systems architecture, and sales operations, translating between creative marketing and data-driven sales. You love setting up smooth systems but are just as happy jumping in to write copy or create an email sequence.
This position is responsible for executing our sales and marketing strategy, driving sophisticated marketing activations, and utilizing our HubSpot CRM ecosystem to execute sales campaigns and lead nurturing. From ideation and implementation of creative marketing campaigns to managing leads and the proposal process, you will shape how some of the world’s largest brands encounter and partner with tPX.
This position sits on our Client Engagement Team and reports to our Director of Content.
Responsibilities
- Marketing strategy & execution
- Lead the strategy, planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including workflow coordination, email sequencing, and content creation.
- Manage the content strategy and editorial calendar for tPX social media channels to build visibility and engagement.
- Continuously assess market trends and client needs.
- Research and analyze key industries and geographies to identify and prioritize potential clients.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables for marketing initiatives, collaborating with the marketing and sales teams, Designers, and Editors to meet target dates and launch milestones.
- Liaise with external marketing partners to support marketing automations and proactively evaluate, implement, and optimize relevant HubSpot features
- Help develop, coordinate, and promote webinars and events to increase awareness and attendance.
- Oversee conference and event strategy with team
- Help develop, coordinate, and promote longform content including whitepapers and other digital long-form content.
- Manage and execute website content updates.
- Act as project manager for marketing projects, ensuring tasks and campaigns move forward efficiently.
- Support general marketing tasks that contribute to brand consistency and external communication needs.
- Monthly metrics reporting.
- Content Development & Communications
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather information, draft content, or prepare materials for marketing initiatives.
- Work closely with the Director of Content on blog content, whitepapers, and other content.
- Plan, create, and manage all content on Linkedin and other social media channels.
- Sales operations
- Drive lead generation through active prospecting, nurturing, webinars, events, day-to-day outreach, and lead lifecycle activities.
- Develop, monitor, and grow the prospect list. Manage leads and the overarching lead funnel through the HubSpot CRM, ensuring strict CRM accuracy to help tPX meet new business goals.
- Nurture and convert leads throughout the pipeline. Support proposals, pitches, and high-effort Request for Proposals (RFPs) alongside client relationship leads.
- Orchestrate and contribute to the Team’s annual sales goals by developing opportunities for organic growth and contributing to proposals for new clients.
Qualifications
- Lead generation and closure
- Competent in foundational sales activities, such as active outreach, building prospect lists, and helping write winning pitches and proposals.
- Ability to lead the entire lead generation journey—from attracting a lead with a webinar to helping to close them through the proposal process.
- Proficient in developing and managing creative marketing campaigns selling professional services.
- Systems and project management
- Expert in building automated workflows, tracking sales pipelines, cleaning up data, and pulling reports in Hubspot.
- Ability to set up and lead complex internal and client-related projects effectively.
- Marketing
- Basic ability to update websites, like WordPress or Webflow.
- Proficient in writing effective LinkedIn posts, hosting webinars, and helping promote notable content, like whitepapers.
- Competent in shaping and carrying out the research to identify target clients by industry and geography.
- Corporate sustainability
- Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge of corporate sustainability / ESG frameworks in marketing and sales activities.
- Professional skills
- Collaborative and team-oriented, though able to draft work products independently.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to function well in a remote-first, fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time, exempt, remote position, working from one of the following states: CA, CO, IL, NY, NC, OR, TX, VA, WA.
Compensation

- Salary range spans $80,000 - $105,000. Starting salary will be determined based on individual qualifications.
- Health, dental, and vision insurance. tPX covers 80% of your medical premium and 100% of your dental and vision premiums.
- Nine (9) paid federal holidays.
- Ten (10) paid tPX holidays during our two annual week-long company closures, typically the first week of August and the week between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
- Fifteen (15) days of paid vacation per year, which will start accruing on your first day.
- Nine (9) days of paid sick leave annually, which will start accruing on your first day.

- A monthly wellness stipend, currently set at $75/month.
