Sheila is a systems thinker who sees the world through the lens of solutions and possibilities. With an MBA in sustainable management and 18+ years in the field, Sheila has proven experience guiding industry-influencing sustainability programs that produce impact with companies in the natural and CPG sectors like Starbucks, LUSH, Beyond Meat, and National Co+op Grocers. Her professional superpower is diving headfirst to take on big, nebulous challenges - the climate crisis included - with urgency and pragmatism. She holds TRUE Zero Waste Advisor and TCFD certifications, and is active in her local B Corp chapter as well as Adopt One Block community clean-ups in Portland. When not at work, Sheila can be found adventuring through the Pacific Northwest with her husband, or adding native plants to their Backyard Habitat-certified yard.
